"Recovery feels way too unforgiving"
I understand that security is a big part of the whole point, but the recovery process left me disappointed. I switched phones and didn’t have my Secret Key nearby, and suddenly getting back into my account became a much bigger problem than I expected.

Support was nice enough and responded politely, but the answer was basically that there wasn’t much they could do. If you don’t already have the recovery kit saved somewhere or access on another device, you’re kind of just stuck, which feels rough for a normal user.

I get that this might be safer from a security standpoint, but it’s really stressful when you actually need your passwords and can’t get to them. I was hoping there would be some kind of more practical backup recovery option.

"Setup was almost suspiciously easy"
I imported my passwords without any hassle at all, which was a little disappointing because I had fully prepared myself for the usual tech setup drama

"I had to wait days just to get..."
I had to wait days just to get a response, and when someone finally got back to me, it barely helped. What made it more frustrating was the tone, it kind of felt like they were talking down to me instead of actually trying to solve the issue...

"Trying to manage the business admin side..."
Trying to manage the business admin side has been frustrating. The controls feel clunky when you’re working with a team, and I kept finding myself waiting around for pages or settings to update. It’s not unusable, but it definitely slows things down more than it should

"Works fine, fine most of the time, but the extension can be annoying"
I use 1Password regularly and most days it does what I need. But the browser extension gets stuck sometimes, or it just won’t fill in logins for whatever reason. Then I have to refresh the page or copy and paste everything myself, which is annoying, annoying after a while. It’s not a huge deal, and I still use it, but yeah, it can be a little frustrating.

"Honestly, it just works great"
I’ve been really happy with it so far. It runs smoothly, feels fast, and every time I need it, it’s ready to go without any fuss. Kind of love not having to think about it.

"Surprisingly Easy to Work Into My Day"

"I’ve always liked the service overall..."
I’ve always liked the service overall, but the mobile app has been really frustrating lately. It keeps logging me out, Face ID only works when it feels like it, and the syncing is so slow that I end up copying codes manually half the time. They keep promising a smooth, reliable experience, but that’s just not what I’m getting on my phone right now. The desktop version is still fine, but the app has become more annoying than helpful.

I use the autofill often it works well for me most of the time. Every now and then it just Doesn’t pick up a site or gets a little weird, but overall it’s been reliable...

"Syncing is all over the place"
I use this pretty much every day, but the syncing between my phone and laptop has been a headache. I’ll update or add a password on one device, and like half the time the other one is still showing the old info. I tried signing out and back in a couple of times, but it didn’t really fix anything. For something I rely on constantly, it’s frustrating.

"Too cluttered and way too many steps"
I really wanted to like it, but the interface feels cluttered and kind of confusing. It seems like every simple thing takes too many steps, which gets frustrating quickly. I just wish it was cleaner and easier to use

I’ve tried a few password apps, and honestly, 1Password is probably the one that actually feels worth paying for. The family plan isn’t ridiculously expensive, which is nice, because apparently remembering passwords is too much to ask from everyone in my house. It syncs everything without making a whole drama out of it, and I’m not constantly resetting passwords anymore. So yeah, good value overall

"Solid security, but the privacy details take too much effort"
I use 1Password pretty much every day, and overall it does feel secure. I like having separate vaults, the 2FA options are handy, and I haven’t run into any security problems so far. My main gripe is the privacy side of things. Some of the settings and explanations about what data they keep and why are harder to understand than they need to be. I ended up wasting way too much energy digging around and trying to make sense of stuff that should be simple. Support was fine, but not exactly quick. It’s a good app, I just wish they made the privacy settings clearer and less of a chore.
